Oil cooler Bypass Video

Here is todays video, a look at the oil cooler bypass in your Corvair motor.

A Thought:  You can decide how effective the combination of both video, and my previously written information is by reading this story as a natural companion piece to the video above:Thoughts on cold weather operation, minimum oil temps, etc.

For a link to a lot of stories on understanding your oil system, check this out: Notes on Group 2800 Heavy Duty Gold Oil Systems.

Looking for subscriber 500; I just checked a minute ago, and we have 499 subscribers to the YouTube channel. You could be 500.

(Edit: Paul Normandin, thanks you are #500)

When we get to 1,000, which I would really like to do before Oshkosh, Links to stories like the ones above can be placed directly in the descriptions of the videos on Youtube. This will make studying and understanding the material easier, as it will all be linked together in one spot. Thank you for assisting on this.

About William Wynne
I have been continuously building, testing and flying Corvair engines since 1989. Information, parts and components that we developed and tested are now flying on several hundred Corvair powered aircraft. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics and an A&P license from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and have a proven 20 year track record of effectively teaching homebuilders how to create and fly their own Corvair powered planes. Much of this is chronicled at www.FlyCorvair.com and in more than 50 magazine articles.

    • Dennis, if you go to Youtube and look at the WW Flycorvair channel directly, and start the video, on the bottom of the video picture, right by the red time line are three little symbols the first one is “CC” in a little box, if you click on that it starts the closed captions. I just tested it and evidently it translates my voice accurately. Please let me know if this works for you. Thanks, William
