When using a Heavy Duty Aircraft oil cooler, this Gold Sandwich Adapter is added between the oil filter and the Gold oil filter housing. It is internally equipped with a bypass for the oil cooler, to allow much quicker oil warm ups in cool weather. Comes complete with a square O-ring gasket, AN-6 fittings, and a special CNC mounting bolt with also serves as the new oil filter threaded nipple.
