Feminism in Rural Florida, Pt. 2

Builders,

.

I just stopped by our local Napa auto parts store, which also something of a community social hub, and took the photo below, it is my friend Suzanne, who also appeared with a very large alligator in this longer story: Thought for the Day: Feminism in Rural Florida.

Suzanne at work, with a tool she will put to use on Saturday, the start of Florida crossbow season, it is delayed a week behind the start of traditional bow season. We are both the same age, but Suzanne is notably healthier, something she attributes to consuming no processed food and leading a low stress life. The link above speaks of her fieldcraft and perspectives. They are not considered unusual in our rural community where terms like ‘self reliance’ have physically observable expressions, it isn’t just a platitude bantered about.
